A transdisciplinary collective bridging the gap between academia and activism. Our primary objectives are to create an ongoing conversation between on-the-ground activists and academic scholars; to support existing groups and individuals who are lobbying for social change through providing research based on an intersectional approach; to create a platform for those interested in and/or working on projects that bridge academia and activism; and to contribute to public debates about racialisation, social justice and equality.
The overarching aim is to rehumanize academic knowledge and to shift the power paradigm of what academic knowledge is through decolonizing knowledge (and research methodology and methods) and a focus on social change.
